The Data Warehouse system FINSUITE is used to accept, store, manage and distribute information about financial instruments and all their characteristics. The system bases on the data models of important data vendors, e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters, Thomson Financial, alternatively.
The core of the Data Warehouse is time series data of prices and other information. The system holds as well characteristic data as information on capital events.

The system consists of the following modules:
Data can be loaded via familiar interfaces of various data vendors.
This module allows for a reliable acquisition of data from different data sources. A user-friendly graphical user interface is used to control data uploaded. Dedicated data can also be recorded via this user interface. Different subscription processes are supported.
This module serves for storing data - reference data, corporate actions, adjustment factors, etc. - in the database.
Data can be distributed to various external applications via an XML interface either by means of file transfer of or using a web service. A web browser also provides a user-friendly means of displaying XML output, making it easy to make the information available to a large number of users within an institution.
Object-based application programmer interfaces (APIs) in C++ and JAVA are also available for developing dedicated applications.
